'Desert Bore, ‘Argadargada’' by Erika Calder

Oil on canvas 43cms X 43cms H

Argadargada was the cattle station our family spent most time on. It was 320 miles NNE of Alice Springs on the dirt Sandover Highway towards the Queensland border. It was over 2,000 square miles in size, with the northern boundary unfenced in deep sand dune country.
